Recommendations please for my son on these cold, wet days. Thank you.

When I bought some for dh I just googled ‘cycling gloves’ and then read the reviews.
Sorry, can’t remember the brand.

When I was cycling daily into Oxford froma village to the north, I had some like the ones in the photo (those are from notonthehighstreet). Mine were an acrylic pair and I normally found them enough for a five-mile ride to work. They dried quickly too.

You can get much more solid versions of this idea,

Try Stolen Goats climb and conquer gloves. They are brilliant for freezing temperatures, made for cycling and still make gear changing easy.

I have Giro cycling gloves, with padded palms and touch screen finger pads. They come in a very wide range of styles including fingerless. I don’t do any cycling these days except for on my exercise bike. I used to have a tricycle and rode a lot, the gloves have lasted well.
