My favourite advert this year is the Tesco one where the teenager is trying to ignore Christmas but bit by bit it takes him over. Everyone in the family then ends up dressed as something Christmassy. It’s so uplifting - how I would love to spend some time wandering around in that Christmas tree outfit!! What’s your favourite advert this year?…

I like the Guinness one where the froth on top of the drink is singing.

I’m easily pleased.

I quite like the singing oven gloves in the Morriston one.

I like the TUI advert with the Christmas elves ( Elf on the shelf) going on holiday.

They are all dreadful, at least the few I have seen are. Have yet to connect an advert with a specific brand.
Bah! Humbug!

Yes! That's fabulous.

I'm not at all keen on the Tesco one. Can't stand M&S. John Lewis is OKish ... love the music. Amazon is lovely. KFC amuses. That's about it

All in all, a bit disappointing

Best I’ve seen is the Irish pub one - someone posted a link on here not long ago.

I like the KFC advert too Louella12
You can imagine creative folk sitting round coming up with a concept like that - and it is catching.
We could all be lifting our eyebrows instead of nodding soon 😃

I love the Aldi one it's so funny. The TUI one comes a close second.

I’m quite amused by the KFC ad too. We saw, we listened and we ignored! Understated and a bit of Nessum Dorma too.

I don’t understand the one with the flycatcher plant that grows enormous. Who would want one anyway?

Oldbat1 Mon 04-Dec-23 20:06:55

I dont watch any adverts! I couldnt name one.

paddyann54 Mon 04-Dec-23 20:07:13

I like the Amazon one with the 3 old ladies sledging ,I like the whole ad showing them as girls rather than the edited version,

Me too. Not that I've seen many on TV.

I think it’s a bit of a disappointing selection all round this year.

The one for Shelter (Good as Gold) is by far the best imho, but it’s heartbreaking.

I like the tui advert as well.

BridgetPark Wed 06-Dec-23 16:34:25

I love the Grouse Whisky advert, where the bird goes round and round on the turntable... so funny

Kim19 Wed 06-Dec-23 19:30:13

The Kellogs Cornflakes is my favourite thus far. Love the straightforward simplicity.

Casdon Wed 06-Dec-23 19:38:32

For anybody who likes a twist, this one from Beefy Boys, which is a burger bar in Hereford is clever.

The one with the gorgeous little blonde girl in her pink pyjamas?

That is lovely. Really lovely.

Made in 1999. The little girl is now all grown up and married!

I was a bit disappointed with the current Famous Grouse because I really loved the one where he just slid past on a curling stone.

Currently I am partial to the singing oven gloves - Morrisons I think

Thank you Louella. I'm doubly pleased with my heartwarmer now. Such efficiency and economy. Bravo Kelloggs!

garnet25 Thu 07-Dec-23 13:24:31

Definitely the Irish Pub one.

Casdon I liked that advert but the end was a bit of a spoiler.
