I have Kaspersky protection downloaded on my computer. However, every so often a warning will pop up on my screen - in Russian (I presume).
Can anyone tell me what it says from the screen shot I've add?
Thank you

You could use the google translate app camera facility on your phone to translate it. Or cut & paste the text into google and translate it that way.

Do you use Kaspersky anti virus? I've no idea if it's genuine or a scam, so don't click on the tab unless you are sure it's genuine.
*Photo translation attached it reads:
"A new version of the program is available for your version of Microsoft windows. Click on the update button."*

Presumably you have update warnings if you open your own genuine app?

Thank you both. That's really helpful. I've had Kaspersky Anti virus for some time, but it was annoying me I didn't understand what the pop ups were saying.
Your help is much appreciated. smile

The first word (large font) means ‘renewal, renovation’ - I had to look it up, Russian is v rusty but I still have my massive old dictionary.
Can’t read the rest, too small and fuzzy, sorry.
So presumably it’s just letting you know that security has been updated.
I hope you find out what the rest means!

You are running windows 11. The anti virus that comes with 11 is pretty good. You don't really need another one. Just uninstall it.

Sorry to be dim. Which antivirus comes with Windows 11?

Microsoft Defender

If you try to install another one, as I did on Windows 10, they will fight each other!
