A little poem for dog lovers? WW11.

I came across this today whilst sorting (more of) my late mother's possessions!
It was in her autograph album of 1942, and I thought it rather touching.

I just wanted to share it with any dog lovers among you.

How lovely to have found a beautiful hand written verse in your DM belongings. I think (after I’d had a little weep) I would tuck it behind a framed doggy photo. Or even give it it’s own little frame. I’m a real softie.
