Holiday romance

My daughter is on holiday in Turkey where, every year, they “adopt” a stray dog or cat. This year a tiny kitten appeared, with no mum in evidence and moved in. Granddaughter of 12 fell in love with her and my daughter worried day and night what to do when they go home. The cat rescue was full but a foster carer was found who has put her with a mother cat who has kittens.
I have sent the cat rescue a good donation , remembering the kitten I loved so much at the same age who became my own for 16 years. How I wish my granddaughter could have done the same.
