Thanks for the response. Nice to see everyone who responded has a profile. Sitting behind a computer is so anonymous.
Lots of lovely places in Suffolk and Essex (and other places) and with the better weather coming, why not take advantage of it and meet some new people.

Hi farmgal we are all very wide spread I think, I have just had a peek at your profile (I am very nosy, but its nice to tie the name with a photo). Lovely to speak to you.

HI. Nice to hear from you. A friend and I from Sagazone are trying to set up a lunch club but the response has been very poor, only 1 person turned up in Nov. -though it was a terrible day. We do have some support though from the Essex group who who are already established.
We plan to meet on February 16th at the Boathouse, Dedham. Sorry it's not Milsoms!. If you can't make that, please feel free to suggest something for March.
Lovely to hear from you. Diane

We had 8 people come to lunch at the Boathouse and they were all lovely and interesting. Food and sevice were excellent and the setting on the river Stour was picture perfect.
Next meet up to be arranged!

Hello all

I've just joined the site and was interested to see they you have organised lunches. I'd like to join you all next time. Can I ask, did you bring your grandchildren with you or was this a child-free event??? I'm always looking to meet up with other grandmothers who look after their grandchildren as I look after mine regularly.
