I have chronic nasal congestion, I have now lost pretty much all my sense of smell, I sneeze and blow my nose all day, and to cap it all, my hay fever has started very early this year. Have any of you trusted ladies ever used one of these electric/battery nasal rinse machines? Amazon have one on offer with almost 100% 5* reviews, but I'm always sure that these are genuine. Your advice please.

I've not t used an electric/battery one. I've used a nasal douche (also known as a net pot I think - made my own and just used warm water, Americans seem very keen on them). Worked for me.

It's better to use water with a small amount of salt dissolved.

My husband suffered dreadfully with it too. He found relief from a nose light. It’s a little prong you stick up your nose(electric I think). Made him look like Rudolph but it worked. I’ll see if I can find a name if you are interested.
