I always thought thalidomide was prescribed for morning sickness. I had no idea it was used for pregnancy testing, nor that it was available over the counter. Utterly horrific.

I must admit I have no idea whether there was every any compensation or acknowledgement with regard to the drug.

This isn't about Thalidomide flappergirl it is just saying that the effect of Primodos was similar to that of Thalidomide.
