Inappropriate or is it just me?

I went to a large Tesco Extra today and outside the main entrance was a sleigh and lots of people dressed up. I didn’t pay too much attention but as I exited the store I was gobsmacked to realise they were playing Another Rock n roll Christmas. By Gary Glitter. I was shocked even though his music was part of my past and I loved it at the time..I do still listen to his music but never in company especially children.

Inappropriate choice of music at the least. Gary Glitter should be ‘cancelled’ altogether, in my opinion.

I agree. Dreadful man. Mind you, I suppose some of our great artists and musicians were not exactly blemish free, either, so maybe I am being narrow minded.

If it was on an old compilation album then maybe they didn't know what they were playing. The tracks would just roll off one after the other and only us oldies would know what it was. The younger ones wouldn't have a clue. And it is after all a great Christmas song which is a shame (for us).
