Just that really🌞. After months of dreary rain, today is the warmest in my part of the country since last autumn. Had breakfast outside and am spending the entire day in the garden.

It so lifts my spirits.

Mine too ☀️

At last we have a sunny morning.
Having said that, the clouds are building so I don't see it lasting all day.

Lovely here too in Essex!! We are picking up the keys for our brand new Static Caravan in a quieter part of Essex and it’s a lovely day to do this.

We are very excited as NEVER ever done anything like this before and we can escape from our adult children with our dog!!

Sunshine is so uplifting but the clouds are back here now after a glorious start. Doesn't last.

Sounds exciting Cossy, hope you enjoy your caravan. Yesterday was lovely in East Anglia and today is really nice too.
It really does lift your spirits.

Yes, a lovely sunny morning here in the East Midlands and its hubby 70th birthday today as well. All good!

Cold and wet in north west Wales
Definitely not gardening weather

Pretty nice here too this morning but getting cloudy now.Took Mum’s little dog for a walk in the nearby park for her as she was ‘seeing friends’😁she has a better social life than me.The park full of daffs and people walking dogs, all happy in the sunshine.

Sky bright clear blue and sunshine down here on the South Coast.. so uplifting

And laundry drying in the sunshine - such joy. I'm a simple woman with modest pleasures.

Oh Cossy how I envy you !! You lucky girl !
Today the sun was cracking the flags in the early hours but now there’s not a trace of blue sky left and it’s back to grey gloom.

Laundry pegged out.........OH cleaning the greenhouse...........and I have planting onion sets & sorting out the strawberry plants. Absolutely nothing done indoors as it was far to nice to not be in the garden smile

Had to run and rescue the washing! Back to normal here.

Marmin Sat 16-Mar-24 13:08:58

Steady rain and fog here in SE Cornwall.

Joseann Sat 16-Mar-24 13:11:54

Yucky weather in Devon.

Lovely day here in North Norfolk. Woke up to blue skies and glorious sunshine. Sun pouring in bedroom windows so I threw back the duvet and enjoyed the sun on my legs.

It cooled off late afternoon but over all a great day.

Purplepixie. Happy birthday to your husband. Mine is 78 today!

cornergran Sat 16-Mar-24 18:11:17

Sadly cloud and rain all day. Envious? Me??? envy.

Georgesgran Sat 16-Mar-24 18:12:09

A frosty start here in Durham, then the sun came out quite nicely. Went for a forest walk and picnic with DD1 and family.
I’d left my washing out as rain wasn’t forecast until 8ish, but it was raining by the time I got home at 5.

Never mind - hopefully it’s the start of better weather to come.

South West Wales. It was dry but overcast this morning, so rushed down the garden to sort out one of the raised beds for broad beans. Back indoors after 20 minutes as it was cold with a chill wind. Rained for the rest of the day. Tomorrow is supposed to be better. Not holding my breath though. It seems to have rained since last October.
