I'm wondering if anyone has The Kate Greenaway Doll Book by Valerie Janitch? I want to make a rag doll, and have seen this book on Amazon but it doesn't give details about the size of the dolls. I don't want to make really big dolls. I think 12-I5" is about the size I am looking for.

I am fairly new to sewing, so if anyone knows of any easy rag dolls to make, that would be helpful ๐Ÿ˜Š.

Many thanks.

I'm sorry , but I don't have that book . You could buy it secondhand .
I've only made one rag doll from a free Prima pattern .
It was massive and it took me two months of frantic evening sewing to make it plus a wardrobe of clothes .

I think that there's a lot of new patterns available for rag dolls
.
If you want Vintage then ebay might be your best bet .
Good luck !

There are lots of tutorials on YouTube.

Amazon is selling paperback copies at a reasonable price although the hardcover one is very pricey!

Oh sorry, by the time I'd searched for copies of the book, I forgot you said you've seen them on Amazon!
Duh!!

Thank you, Esmay and MerylStreep. I'll check out both eBay and YouTube. I'm sure I'll find something there ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š
