Massively restrictive Covid rules still in place in care homes?

Hi, I'm writing an article for a national newspaper on the above topic - how some/lots of care homes are only allowing visits through perspex screens, shutting down the whole home to all visits after just one or two cases etc. This is simply horrible when you have an elderly relative who is very unwell or needs support from and contact with family.
