Can anyone recommend a holiday insurance company which will insure people with medical problems and is reasonable if a claim is made? I know it will cost a lot more than for totally healthy people, but them's the breaks as we get older!

Thanks in advance.

Saga. I had to make a claim from them and it was so easy to do.

My niece had the best quote from M and S. she declared all her serious injuries and ongoing appointments following a near fatal road accident and they came out best.

Barclays. They paid out in full for our cancelled holiday just recently and very promptly too.

Get quotes from a number of insurance companies.

The quote will depend on age

Medical conditions including any treatment you are undergoing, historical medical condition's etc.

Where you want to travel in the world, different companies cover varies areas.

Single trip or yearly trip, surprisingly I found one year the annual trip was cheaper than the single trip.

You can cover medical only if you want, this will not cover cancellation of holiday.

You cannot compare one persons cost to the amount you have to pay.

I have used a number of insurance companies over the years we are with Allclear at the moment before this Staysure.
