What is the best headdress for women with thinning hair?

I'd go for a style with some height to it, such as a well tied turban. I'd also like floaty bits at the side hangin down from the side of the turban. These take some practice in learning to tie them however I bet you can buy them already made up if you have to do so.

I think maybe a good material to use for a head tie would be fine floaty viscose as it washes and dries easily. (Silk is nice but it make creaky noises and needs ironing.)

As I read your post, this turban hat ad popped up 🤔

Why not get a hair topper?
There are some good ones out there. They're not as hot as a wig and a hairdresser will cut and colour it to match your own hair.

Well, I have this problem, from cancer many years ago. And I use Chutes from the camping shop Blacks, then I have an assortment of hats to go on top of the chute. Summers mean straw hats, with thin elastic to secure round the head.

A natural bamboo material might be cooler. I have a couple of nice bamboo turban hats that I wear now to stop my hair blowing in my face on windy days. I’m can’t remember where I got them from but there are loads of suppliers.

I think these look good and it would be easy to get the look using a plain hat and a pretty scarf.

These are awfully pretty, Blossoming! No wonder so many are sold out. I bet people with hair wear them too.

Etsy have a good few sellers who specialise in these sorts of things, a few because they have had hair issues themselves.

My daughter got some lonely ones, which were altered to fit her (pin) head.

Lovely. Not lonely, although they might have been, I suppose.
