Hi all. Starting taking progesterone tablets at bedtime and gel in the morning for the first time today. Anyone else done this and feel dizzy and nauseous? I felt ok til this afternoon. Now feel terrible ?

Many of us on here still take some kind of HRT. but that combination is unfamiliar. To me, anyway.
What were your problems leading to your GP's prescription?
But really you need to go back to your GP and ask him/her.

It must be the progesterone,
I’ve never heard anyone say Oestrogel caused nausea in fact the only negative thing I have heard from a couple of ladies was breast enlargement which one was extremely happy about and the other lady had her dosage successfully reduced by her doctor.
Do call your doctor on Monday morning. There are lots of other types of progesterone which can be prescribed.
Persevere, HRT is life changing. ?

I agree with Esspee, the progesterone may not agree with you.

I use body identical progesterone called utrogenestan, (I take it vaginally) and it’s brilliant for me.
I have never tolerated synthetic progestins. Sounds to me like you have the same problem?

Talk with your GP.
