Has anyone had trouble changing their mobile number on the Government gateway site. We have moved and we accessed the site to change our address but their is no way of changing a mobile number. My husband has been trying to change his mobile number for about 2 years. He has looked on the web and their are lots of people with this problem. He needs to change the number so HMRC can send him a text code. He has to use his old phone to do this so he keeping an old mobile going just because he cannot change the number. This is just a simple thing to do. Because we have moved I have changed over 20 addresses and phone numbers with, banks, building societies, premium bonds but the only one he cannot do is HMRC. No wonder people get so annoyed. Does anyone have any idea how to do this. I have just given up trying to ring them are being on the phone for 40 mins with getting to speak to someone.
