We will, as far as I am aware, get our £10. But no one from government has mentioned it.

What we are getting is a real increase in the Winter Fuel Allowance, but I have a feeling they have said that is just for 2022.

They are here: www.gransnet.com/forums/legal_and_money/1316723-Annual-Winter-Fuel-Payment-2022

Many thanks. Will be useful then - suppose we will still get our wonderful ten pounds xmas payment!!!!

I am donating my £10 to the cost of Christmas lunch at my DDs maybe it will purchase a half of the cost of a turkey if I'm lucky.

The government has confirmed that the £324 Cost of Living Payment, which follows on from a £326 payment made in July, will be paid out from 8 to 23 November.

The second payment will automatically be paid into the bank accounts of those eligible in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland who receive a qualifying benefit.
