Oven timings!

My faithful Cannon cooker gave up the ghost last week and, as the cooker gap in my kitchen is only 55cm, the only new cooker I could get was a Beko which seems to take twice as long to cook everything. Am I being impatient? My old cooker was so much quicker. Any other Gransnetters found this? Thanks.

I'd suggest buying an oven thermometer to check it's getting up to the correct temperature.

My MIL bought a Beko oven for the same reason and she always complained it took an age to cook and the door was really hard to close properly. Sorry not much help

Presumably it's still under warranty so, if it's faulty then you could exchange it.

Sorry, not much help as mine is Neff and I have to lower the temperature gauge, it seems to cook too quickly!
