Annie Nightingale has died. She was 83. I have listened to her programmes over the years and read her books. She was a real pioneer. Her last programme was just before Christmas. Amazing woman.

I echo the above thoughts. I felt rather sad when I heard it on the car radio. So many I have grown up with have died recently. RIP Annie.

I was sorry to hear this. She was a pioneer with a distinctive voice and respected by all in the music industry.

RIP Annie.

Sorry to read that, I'd no idea how old she was, I thought in her 60s maybe, but of course she's been around a long time.

RIP

There seems to have been a lot of people in the news who have died recently, at one time I would have thought 83 was a good age but now I'm early 70s I think it's too young 🙁 There have been a lot of excess deaths recorded recently more than normal, Covid? Vaccinations? why?

I also remember her as an agony aunt in one of my teenage magazines. RIP Annie.

I wonder how many, like me, can conjure up her beautiful voice in their heads.
RIP Annie
