Virtual museums

Here's another idea for these stay-at-home days. Museums are all closed, of course, but most have a virtual tour on line. Those that didn't have now made one.

So post a link to your local museum or a favourite one you have visited, at home or abroad.

Our local museum which has a very rich history on show and always has exciting special exhibitions is unfortunately only available in German, so here is a link to one I once visited which specialises in medieval torture instruments.

Sorry, can't get the link to work. I'll find another one. Look forward to seeing everyone else's local museums.

Not the most cheery museum ever, JackyB, but thank you.

Hi! I’m from Mexico and my favorite museum is the Victoria and Albert Museum in London ?

Thank you for sharing. I hope I can visit it one day. I’m from a tiny city in Veracruz, Mexico called Orizaba. There are a few small museums here, this is one of them:

It’s an art museum and the artworks are worth seeing. smile
