Shave or not to shave? I’m as nature intended. Do you go Brazilian, have a landing strip or let it all hang out.

Shave or not to shave? After ladygarden thread, do you go Brazilian, landing strip
or let it all hang out?
I’m as nature intended, plus I’m too lazy. Hair gets thinner too everywhere as time goes by, even grey down there! One can touch it up with a dab of mascara if it’s going to be seen?

TMI

(If a reference to purple underwear gets any of our Male posters in a lather, I hope they have taken their medication before following this thread. )

Haha, I’m new here and thought it was grandmothers...
Ah well.

Marydoll Sun 26-Jan-20 14:42:41

Oh there is a fair mix on here, not only just grandmothers!

I'm already clutching my pearls. grin blush

Plaited, with bows for special occasions

Nannylovesshopping Sun 26-Jan-20 14:47:37

Take the seceteurs to it occasionally, as for hot wax near my bits, no thanks ?

Just noticed a programme tomorrow night 10pm Channel 4 called Bring Back the Bush where they 'explore our relationship with pubic hair'.
What makes me laugh is how people today are so shocked when they see what we watched on TV in the 1970s. I'm pretty sure I'd have been very shocked if I'd seen in the 1970s what they have on TV today!

BlueBelle Sun 26-Jan-20 15:04:49

All off

Dottygran59 Sun 26-Jan-20 15:10:49

Full bush and proud. Gone thin and grey and a bit hidden by my belly that falls over it now. Might have a little trim round the edges before hols but that’s only cos going with DD and SIL is from dahn Sahf and is proper posh and might be shocked by my stays when I have me cossy on

ladymuck Sun 26-Jan-20 15:23:02

Just keep it neatly trimmed.

Septimia Sun 26-Jan-20 15:32:19

I've wondered - but wouldn't have asked - about what might be the 'norm'.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who's thought of plaiting it. I usually get the scissors out when it reaches that stage.....

Pantglas2 Sun 26-Jan-20 15:42:50

Vajazzle of course......wink

GrannyLaine Sun 26-Jan-20 15:53:28

SirChenjin. ROFLMAO. misread your 'merkin' as 'gherkin'

Now what the heck is 'merkin'??

SirChenjin Sun 26-Jan-20 16:10:14

You could certainly attach a gherkin to your merkin if you fancied it - heck, you could hang a whole row of them from it!

GrannyLaine Sun 26-Jan-20 16:12:55

Ewwwww.........

GagaJo Sun 26-Jan-20 16:16:46

Trimmed, although I've had it all off in the past and loved it.

M0nica Sun 26-Jan-20 16:24:31

Quite frankly, I have never wasted a moments thought on the subject until recent threads. I am vaguely aware I have pubic hair when I bath, and occasionally see it in a mirror and that is the begining and end of it.

gillyknits Sun 26-Jan-20 16:27:51

I’m like someone on the lady garden thread. I think Ive got box blight ! ?
No one told me that pubes could disappear with age!

lemongrove Sun 26-Jan-20 16:42:24

SirC ?being a bit myopic, until I enlarged the pic, I thought it was a cheese selection,I ‘saw’ Double Glos and Wensleydale with cranberries ( or so I thought.)

SirChenjin Sun 26-Jan-20 17:07:48

grin Definitely not something you want to serve on your cheese board!

Pantglas2 Sun 26-Jan-20 18:35:20

grin SirChenjin- tee hee!

Iam64 Sun 26-Jan-20 18:44:52

I'm a traditionalist I suppose. Never shaved, trimmed or anything like that. It's not as hairy these days but even in its hey day, it was left au natural and bits that poked out around the swimming cozzie were left to their own devices.

NanaandGrampy Sun 26-Jan-20 19:23:52

Why on gods green earth would you put mascara on your pubic hair? Why not go the whole hog and draw them in with a sharpie marker lol!

FlexibleFriend Sun 26-Jan-20 19:55:29

Since the age of around 14-15 my pubes have been very neatly trimmed. I've never had surplus hair to poke out of my cossie but always liked it neat and trimmed. Can't say I've noticed any reduction in hair as I've aged but look forward to it happening. Not a fan of hairy bushes tbh they make me cringe.
