I actually found some warm white STATIC tree lights with a green cable!

In good old Wilko, which was the last place I looked, having more or less given up.
£5 for 100 - enough for us, since I’ve got an old fashioned coloured set as well.
They have sets of 200 for £9.50, according to the website, if anyone else is interested.
Bought our tree today, but it’s sitting outside in a bucket of water for now. 🎄

I have light envy Witzend I trawled local garden centres last year for the elusive set of warm LED lights on a green cable for my big tree.

I ended up with a white cable and trickery to hide the bloomin cable amongst the decorations and branches 🤬

I got white lights in Asda with green cable mains powered and battery. Different numbers of lights.

Great minds must think alike Witzend, I bought some this morning. Mine are clear cable, but they had green too. They were good value I thought, and as they are led, will be cheap to run - on the shelf it said 1p per hour.
