My husband is the main carer for his mum, who lives with us in a separate annex. He has taken early retirement to do so. I help out when I can but work a 47 hour week. MIL also has 3 care visits a day for washing and dressing etc. and husband gets 2 afternoons respite care a week from the same carers.
I have just tested positive for covid and am feeling awful. Husband feels like he's going down with something but is testing negative. He is washing his hands like mad and wearing masks when he goes in to her.
What do we do if/when we both have covid? We're all fully vaccinated and boosted and MIL has had an extra booster.
Last weekend, in Rutland, the first statue in Britain of the late Elizabeth II was unveiled.
