Heated Gilets - best buy

Martin Lewis was advising people to buy a heated gilet to keep warm this winter.

I have looked on Amazon and there are hundreds of them ranging from £50 to around £200.

I think you also need to have a powerpack to charge them.

Can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced heated gilet (from experience)?

Also, how long does the power pack last for? Do you need two powerpacks in case the first one runs out?

Sorry of there is already a similar post.

I know someone who has a cold studio and was bought one by a student.
It was inexpensive (£45) and she loves it so much she bought one for a gift for someone else. It apparently stays warm "for hours"

Don't know the make. Sorry

I don’t have one, but I saw a feature on Mumsnet last week which makes some recommendations, hope this helps.

Thanks everyone

Casdon - thank you for the information.

I think I will invest in one. I would rather go for a more expensive one as I would be worried about the cheap ones not being long lasting. Plus the powerpack is not included with the cheaper ones

I work from home and really feel the cold in my back and shoulders.
