Love it; sent it to a friend whose knuckles go white when he hears less instead of fewer!

I cringe when even TV presenters say โ€˜off ofโ€™ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I cannot stand draws or chest of draws. What happened to drawers?

Brilliant. My son and I are extreme pedants - I'll send it to him.

I am a pedant but even Steven Fry has said that it's not really against any rule to use 'less' rather than 'fewer' for countable objects. He admits that he was one of the first proponents of the argument but has since changed his mind. If I can find a link I'll post it.

Ah, I think I've found it. He does not say that 'less' is wrong. In his opinion, we just shouldn't get quite somber up about it.

Nonetheless, the video made me smile.

No idea why that says 'somber'(I would never use an American spelling!)

I actually wrote 'get quite so het up about it'
